Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on wind turbine components
- Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems using diagnostic tools
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols during tower climbs and confined space work
- Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize turbine performance
- Maintain detailed service records and technical documentation
- Mentor junior technicians on best practices and troubleshooting techniques
Qualifications
- 3+ years of technical maintenance experience (wind energy or mechanical/electrical fields)
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- OSHA 10 certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Ability to work at heights (up to 300 ft) in varying weather conditions
- Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and operate hand/power tools
