Responsibilities
- Design and deploy resilient, multi-cloud infrastructure using Terraform, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines
- Optimize cloud spending while maintaining 99.99% uptime for production environments
- Lead incident response and post-mortem analyses for critical infrastructure events
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and architectural reviews
- Implement Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) best practices and security frameworks
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Stay current with emerging cloud technologies and industry certifications
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with AWS/GCP services and Terraform
- Expertise in Kubernetes orchestration and containerized application deployment
- Strong background in Linux system administration and networking fundamentals
- Proven track record of optimizing cloud cost and performance metrics
- CI/CD pipeline implementation using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or equivalent
- Relevant certifications (AWS Solutions Architect, GCP Professional Cloud Architect)
- Experience with infrastructure security frameworks (CIS Benchmarks, NIST)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in agile environments
