Responsibilities
- Design and develop high-fidelity, performant 2D animations and motion graphics for web and mobile platforms.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to define animation strategies that enhance user experience and drive engagement.
- Optimize animated assets for web performance, ensuring fast load times and smooth playback across all devices.
- Utilize advanced tools like Framer, After Effects, and GSAP to prototype, animate, and deliver production-ready assets.
- Maintain and update our design system and animation libraries to ensure strict brand consistency.
- Conduct motion design critiques and mentor junior designers on animation principles and best practices.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in 2D motion design, web animation, or a related creative field.
- Expert proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Figma, and Principle.
- Strong understanding of animation principles, timing, easing, and physics-based motion.
- Experience working with front-end developers to implement motion using HTML, CSS, JavaScript (GSAP and Lottie preferred).
- A strong, diverse portfolio showcasing commercial 2D web animation projects and case studies.
