In this role, you will bridge the gap between art and technology, creating high-fidelity 2D assets that drive our web and mobile platforms. You will work closely with product managers and engineers to ensure visual consistency and pixel-perfect execution across all touchpoints.
Responsibilities
- Design and create high-quality 2D assets, illustrations, and iconography for web and mobile applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, Marketing) to translate concepts into stunning visual designs.
- Ensure all designs are responsive, accessible, and optimized for performance.
- Maintain and evolve our design system, creating reusable components that scale with the business.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions and improve the user experience.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to push the boundaries of 2D design.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in 2D design, illustration, or a related creative field.
- Proven portfolio demonstrating expertise in vector illustration, icon design, and UI graphics.
- Proficiency in industry-standard tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects) and Figma.
- Strong understanding of color theory, typography, and layout principles.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate design rationale to technical teams.
