The Role
As a Senior 2D Animator, you will bridge the gap between static design and dynamic storytelling. You will manage complex animation sequences, mentor junior designers, and ensure our deliverables meet the highest standards of quality and performance.
Responsibilities
- Conceptualize and execute high-quality 2D character animation and motion graphics.
- Collaborate with art directors and clients to refine animation concepts and meet project timelines.
- Build and rig complex character rigs using industry-standard software.
- Optimize animated assets for various platforms (Web, Mobile, TV) ensuring smooth playback.
- Provide creative direction and feedback to junior team members.
- Maintain a deep understanding of current animation trends and techniques.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional experience in 2D animation and motion graphics.
- Proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Adobe Photoshop, and Illustrator.
- Strong understanding of animation principles (timing, spacing, squash and stretch).
- Experience with rigging tools (e.g., Duik, Dragonframe) is a plus.
- A robust portfolio showcasing commercial work or personal projects.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to take constructive feedback.
