Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans in accordance with nursing standards.
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately, monitoring patient responses.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare team members.
- Document patient data and clinical findings in electronic health records (EHR) with precision.
- Respond immediately to critical situations, ensuring patient safety and rapid intervention.
- Provide education and emotional support to patients and their families regarding medical conditions and treatment plans.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment.
Qualifications
- Valid and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New York or eligibility for licensure.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) accepted with significant experience.
- Willingness to undergo the visa sponsorship application process (H2B, J1, or TN status).
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or medical setting.
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS required depending on specialty area.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
