Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in acute care, long-term, or specialty nursing units
- Administer medications, treatments, and wound care per physician protocols
- Monitor patient vitals, assess health conditions, and document electronic health records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop patient care plans
- Educate patients/families on health management and discharge protocols
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and infection control measures
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and regulatory standards
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Hawaii or ability to obtain via compact endorsement
- BSN degree preferred; ADN candidates with 2+ years experience considered
- Minimum 1 year acute care nursing experience (new grads welcome)
- Current BLS certification; ACLS/PALS preferred
- Eligible for visa sponsorship (H-1B, TN, or other applicable categories)
- Strong communication skills and cultural competence
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including weekends/holidays
