Responsibilities
- Assess patient health problems and needs, and develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and licensed providers.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes in condition immediately to the nursing supervisor or provider.
- Document patient care services in medical records and administrative reports accurately and timely.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Educate patients and families on post-discharge care and health maintenance.
- Provide emotional support and advocacy for patients and their families during critical care moments.
Qualifications
- Current and active RN or LPN License in the State of Texas (or compact state eligibility).
- No Bachelor's Degree Required: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Nursing Diploma accepted.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of acute care nursing experience preferred.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment.
- Willingness to undergo a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Eligibility for visa sponsorship (H1B, Green Card, or other applicable work authorization).
