Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient needs under the supervision of physicians and nurses.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established hospital protocols and legal standards.
- Monitor patient vital signs and health status, promptly reporting any changes or emergencies to the charge nurse or physician.
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records and documentation to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans.
- Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge instructions.
Qualifications
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the United States (or ability to obtain reciprocity).
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Willingness to undergo a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Fluency in English (verbal and written) to ensure clear communication with patients and staff.
- Demonstrated ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Degree in Nursing (BSN preferred, Associate Degree acceptable).
