Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, monitoring vital signs and administering medications in accordance with established protocols.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Document patient care accurately and timely using electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and critical situations, demonstrating clinical judgment and leadership.
- Educate patients and families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and post-discharge care instructions.
- Ensure a safe and clean environment by adhering to all safety and infection control policies.
Qualifications
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of California.
- BSN preferred; Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) accepted with relevant experience.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of clinical nursing experience preferred.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Willingness to undergo a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume healthcare environment.
- Strong communication skills and ability to advocate for patient needs effectively.
