Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and monitor vital signs to identify changes in medical condition.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation in compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
- Provide patient education and emotional support to patients and their families regarding diagnosis and treatment options.
- Respond immediately to medical emergencies and assist in resuscitation efforts when necessary.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and infection-free environment for patients and staff.
Qualifications
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Illinois or compact state eligibility.
- Graduation from an accredited Nursing School (BSN preferred but not always required).
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications.
- Demonstrated proficiency in English (speaking, reading, and writing) to ensure patient safety and effective communication.
- Eligibility to work in the United States (H1B, Green Card, or J1 visa holders are encouraged to apply).
- Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced hospital environment.
