Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, patient-centered care in accordance with hospital protocols and state regulations.
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor vital signs to detect changes in condition.
- Administer medications and treatments accurately, documenting all procedures in the electronic health record.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and the wider healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Educate patients and families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and post-discharge care instructions.
- Respond promptly to emergency situations, demonstrating critical thinking and clinical expertise.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina (or eligibility to obtain).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Eligibility for and commitment to processing visa sponsorship (H1B or Green Card).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with diverse patient populations.
- Demonstrated proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
- Compassionate demeanor with a strong focus on patient advocacy and safety.
