Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive direct patient care, including assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation of patient status.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict adherence to hospital protocols, nursing practice acts, and physician orders.
- Monitor patients' conditions continuously and respond immediately to any critical changes or emergencies.
- Document all patient interactions, clinical findings, and care plans accurately and timely within the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
- Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and interdisciplinary care teams to develop optimal treatment plans.
- Educate patients and their families regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and post-discharge care instructions.
- Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to all infection control and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in Maryland (or ability to obtain).
- Eligibility for visa sponsorship (H1-B, J1, or TN visa) is a mandatory requirement.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) accepted with relevant experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent clinical nursing experience in a hospital or acute care setting.
- CPR/BLS certification (American Heart Association) required; ACLS preferred.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for patient education.
