Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, patient-centered care by assessing patient needs, developing care plans, and implementing appropriate nursing interventions.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and established protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and response to treatments, promptly reporting any changes to the healthcare team.
- Document patient care accurately and timely in electronic health records (EHR).
- Educate patients and their families regarding diagnosis, treatment plans, and discharge instructions.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized nursing unit environment.
Qualifications
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing (California or eligible for licensure).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or medical setting (new grads with exceptional records considered).
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a high-paced team environment.
- Willingness and ability to undergo immigration sponsorship processes (H1B/J1) if required.
