Responsibilities
- Monitor patient vital signs, health status, and progress accurately.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Document patient care activities, interventions, and responses in electronic health records.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and care teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Provide patient education and emotional support to patients and their families.
- Respond immediately to medical emergencies and assist with code blue situations.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, state regulations, and accreditation standards.
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas (or eligible for compact state licensure).
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Strong English language proficiency (speaking, reading, and writing) – essential for visa compliance.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience in a hospital or clinical setting.
