Responsibilities
- Patient Assessment & Care: Conduct comprehensive health assessments and develop individualized nursing care plans tailored to patient needs.
- Medication Management: Accurately administer medications and treatments in strict adherence to hospital protocols and safety regulations.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely electronic health records (EHR) documenting patient progress, medications administered, and changes in condition.
- Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with physicians, therapists, and the wider healthcare team to ensure holistic patient care.
- Emergency Response: Respond promptly to code blue emergencies and medical crises within the department.
- Health Education: Educate patients and families on disease prevention, medication adherence, and post-discharge care instructions.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the United States or an equivalent foreign qualification.
- Visa Eligibility: Candidates must be eligible for Visa sponsorship (H1B, TN, or equivalent) or currently possess a valid work visa.
- Certifications: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse populations.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required by the unit.
