Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures
- Develop quantum algorithms for optimization and cryptography applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quantum-classical hybrid systems
- Lead research in error correction techniques for quantum processors
- Present breakthrough findings at international conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to open-source quantum projects
- Secure patents for novel quantum computing methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years experience in quantum computing research or industry
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant design
- Proficiency with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Strong publication record in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Experience with superconducting qubit systems or topological quantum computing
- Demonstrated ability to secure research funding and manage large-scale projects
