Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization problems in logistics and pharmaceuticals
- Lead architecture of fault-tolerant quantum processors using superconducting qubits
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical machine learning frameworks for 2026 applications
- Collaborate with hardware teams to mitigate decoherence in quantum systems
- Create quantum-resistant encryption protocols for next-gen cybersecurity
- Present breakthrough findings at IEEE Quantum Computing Symposium
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum information theory
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in Nature or Science on quantum error correction
- Proven track record of scaling quantum systems beyond 50 qubits
- Deep understanding of quantum entanglement and superposition principles
- Experience with cloud quantum computing platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket)
- Strong background in topological quantum computing theory
