Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum-resistant cryptographic protocols for financial and defense systems
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks for optimization problems
- Lead research in quantum error correction and topological qubit architectures
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum processors and control systems
- Create quantum simulation environments for algorithm prototyping and validation
- Present quantum security frameworks to enterprise clients and government agencies
- Author technical whitepapers on quantum threat modeling and mitigation strategies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years experience in quantum computing or post-quantum cryptography
- Proficiency in quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Published research in quantum algorithms or quantum error correction
- Expertise in quantum hardware architectures (superconducting, trapped ion, photonic)
- Strong background in cryptography (AES, ECC, lattice-based systems)
- Experience with high-performance computing and parallel programming
- Security clearance eligibility preferred
