We are looking for a dedicated and organized Part-Time Relocation Specialist to join our team in Omaha, Nebraska. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for clients navigating the complexities of moving. Responsibilities
- Coordinate Logistics: Manage the end-to-end moving process, including scheduling, packing lists, and route planning for local and interstate moves.
- Client Communication: Act as the main liaison between clients, movers, and vendors to ensure clear expectations and timely updates.
- Inventory Management: Conduct thorough inventory checks and document all items being moved to ensure accuracy and security.
- Documentation: Prepare and review all necessary legal and administrative paperwork, including contracts and bills of lading.
- Problem Solving: Address any logistical challenges or delays immediately to minimize stress for the client.
- On-Site Support: Assist with loading and unloading trucks on moving day to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Feedback Collection: Gather client feedback to improve our relocation services and maintain high satisfaction rates.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in logistics, customer service, or relocation assistance is preferred but not required.
- Skills: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional, friendly demeanor.
- Technical Proficiency: Comfortable using computer software for data entry and scheduling (CRM experience is a plus).
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift moderate to heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
- License: Valid driverβs license and a clean driving record are mandatory.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as required by peak moving seasons.
