Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in medical/surgical units with precision and compassion
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders with meticulous documentation
- Monitor patient vital signs and report critical changes to healthcare team promptly
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary staff to develop and implement care plans
- Educate patients and families on health management and discharge protocols
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and hospital safety regulations
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Wisconsin or eligible for endorsement
- BSN degree required (ADN candidates with 2+ years experience considered)
- Minimum 1 year clinical nursing experience in acute care setting
- Valid BLS certification; ACLS preferred
- Excellent communication skills and cultural competence
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
- Eligible for visa sponsorship (H1B, TN, J1 transfers considered)
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response capabilities
