Responsibilities
- Oversee and optimize daily logistics operations and supply chain processes to ensure maximum efficiency and throughput.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a diverse team of operations staff to foster a culture of accountability and high performance.
- Develop and implement operational strategies, policies, and procedures that align with company goals.
- Analyze operational data and performance metrics to identify trends, reduce costs, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manage the departmental budget, including forecasting, expense control, and resource allocation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, warehouse, and customer service, to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Ensure full compliance with local, state, and federal regulations regarding workplace safety and operational standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management, logistics, or a similar role within a manufacturing or distribution environment.
- Proven track record of leading teams and managing complex operational projects.
- Strong proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and data analysis tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions under pressure.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to various facility locations.
