Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end operations including production scheduling, inventory management, and logistics coordination
- Develop and implement process improvements using Lean Six Sigma methodologies
- Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing operations teams (15+ direct reports)
- Analyze KPIs to identify bottlenecks and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for optimal cost-efficiency
- Ensure strict compliance with OSHA and industry safety standards
- Collaborate with executive leadership on strategic operational planning
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Business, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 8+ years progressive operations experience with 3+ years in leadership
- Proven expertise in Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma certification
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and data-driven decision making
- Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
- Experience in fast-paced manufacturing environments
- Valid Kansas driver's license and willingness to travel occasionally
