Responsibilities
- Lead Operations Strategy: Develop and execute operational plans to meet company goals while maintaining a focus on cost-efficiency and quality.
- Team Leadership: Recruit, train, mentor, and supervise a diverse team of logistics and warehouse staff to ensure high performance and safety standards.
- Process Optimization: Identify bottlenecks in current workflows and implement Lean Six Sigma methodologies to streamline operations.
- Inventory & Supply Chain Management: Oversee inventory levels, manage vendor relationships, and ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure strict adherence to OSHA safety regulations and company policies.
- Budget Management: Monitor operational budgets, control expenses, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to senior management.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management, logistics, or supply chain management.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and MS Office Suite is required.
- Leadership: Proven track record of leading teams and driving results in a high-volume environment.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex data clearly.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot operational issues effectively.
