Responsibilities
- Oversee Daily Operations: Manage the end-to-day logistics and supply chain operations to ensure timely delivery and high-quality standards.
- Team Leadership: Recruit, train, mentor, and supervise a diverse team of 10+ employees to foster a positive and productive work environment.
- Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in current workflows and implement Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma principles to optimize performance.
- Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels, manage stock accuracy, and coordinate with procurement to prevent stockouts or overstocking.
- Compliance & Safety: Enforce strict safety protocols and regulatory compliance to ensure a safe working environment for all staff.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage operational budgets, tracking expenses and driving cost-reduction initiatives.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management or logistics, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Skills: Strong proficiency in ERP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and MS Office Suite.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex data to stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving: Proven track record of solving operational bottlenecks and improving efficiency.
- Location: Must be willing to work in Columbus, OH.
