Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including inventory management, shipping/receiving, and quality control
- Develop/implement SOPs to maximize efficiency and reduce operational costs by 15%+ annually
- Lead cross-functional teams of 15+ employees in fast-paced distribution environment
- Analyze KPIs to identify bottlenecks and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for logistics/supply chain services
- Ensure OSHA compliance and maintain safety-first culture across all operations
- Coordinate with sales/finance departments to align operational targets with business objectives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain, or related field (MBA preferred)
- Minimum 5+ years progressive operations management experience in distribution/warehousing
- Proven track record of implementing Lean Six Sigma methodologies
- Advanced proficiency in WMS/TMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex operational data
- OSHA certification and experience managing safety programs
- Exceptional leadership abilities with demonstrated team development success
