Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations including inventory management, warehousing, and distribution logistics
- Develop and implement process improvement strategies to enhance operational efficiency
- Manage cross-functional teams (15+ members) including warehouse, transportation, and customer service
- Analyze KPIs and performance metrics to identify optimization opportunities
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards
- Collaborate with executive leadership on strategic operational planning
- Lead vendor management relationships and contract negotiations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain, or related field
- 5+ years progressive experience in operations leadership
- Proven track record of optimizing logistics and supply chain processes
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle)
- OSHA certification or equivalent safety management credentials
- Experience managing budgets and P&L responsibilities
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-volume environments
