Responsibilities
- Oversee and optimize daily warehouse and logistics operations to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of orders.
- Develop, implement, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to improve operational efficiency and reduce waste.
- Manage the P&L for the operations department, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control measures.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of supervisors, coordinators, and staff members.
- Ensure strict compliance with all local, state, and federal safety regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with procurement and sales teams to forecast inventory needs and resolve logistical bottlenecks.
- Utilize data analytics to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as throughput, order accuracy, and on-time delivery rates.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management, supply chain, or logistics.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and ERP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Proven track record of managing large teams and improving operational workflows.
- Certification in Lean Six Sigma or similar process improvement methodologies is a plus.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities effectively.
