Responsibilities
- Monitor premises via CCTV systems and conduct regular patrols of assigned areas
- Respond promptly to security incidents and emergencies following protocol
- Document all activities in detailed shift reports using proprietary software
- Manage access control systems and verify credentials for personnel/visitors
- Coordinate with local law enforcement during critical incidents
- Conduct safety inspections and report maintenance issues
- Provide exceptional customer service to tenants and visitors during night hours
Qualifications
- Valid California Guard Card and firearms permit (if applicable)
- Minimum 2 years commercial security experience
- Proficient in surveillance systems and access control technology
- Excellent written communication and report-writing skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities
- Flexible schedule availability including weekends and holidays
- Must pass background check and drug screening
