Responsibilities
- Patrol designated government and commercial premises during overnight hours (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Operate advanced surveillance systems and monitor real-time security camera feeds
- Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, and emergency situations with tactical precision
- Maintain detailed incident logs and digital surveillance documentation
- Conduct access control procedures for authorized personnel and visitors
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during critical incidents
- Perform preventative security checks of facilities, perimeters, and access points
Qualifications
- Valid DC Security Guard License (DMP-DS-101)
- Minimum 2 years of commercial or government security experience
- OSHA 10-Hour Construction Safety certification preferred
- Ability to stand/walk for 8+ hours in various weather conditions
- Proficient with CCTV systems and electronic security equipment
- Active CPR/First Aid certification
- Must pass federal background check and drug screening
- Valid US driver's license with clean record
