Responsibilities
- Monitor premises via surveillance equipment and conduct regular patrols to detect and prevent security breaches.
- Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, and emergency situations, following established protocols.
- Write detailed incident reports and maintain accurate logs of activities.
- Interact with employees, visitors, and the public in a professional and courteous manner.
- Enforce access control policies and verify identification of individuals entering the premises.
- Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services as needed.
- Provide assistance to clients and employees as required.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Valid Louisiana security officer license or ability to obtain one.
- Previous security or law enforcement experience preferred.
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to stand or walk for extended periods and be physically capable of responding to emergencies.
- Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
