Responsibilities
- Monitor premises and conduct regular patrols to deter criminal activity
- Operate surveillance systems and document all security incidents
- Respond to emergencies and coordinate with law enforcement when necessary
- Access control management and visitor verification procedures
- Write detailed incident reports and maintain accurate logs
- Collaborate with day shift personnel for seamless security transitions
- Conduct equipment checks and ensure all security systems are operational
Qualifications
- Valid California Guard Card (or willingness to obtain immediately)
- Minimum 2 years security experience in commercial environments
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Strong conflict resolution and de-escalation skills
- Basic CPR/First Aid certification preferred
- Proficient with surveillance technology and reporting systems
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
- Must pass background check and drug screening
