Responsibilities
- Oversee all daily operations and production activities during the night shift to ensure maximum efficiency and output.
- Ensure strict adherence to all safety protocols, OSHA regulations, and company policies to maintain a safe work environment.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with supply chain teams to prevent stockouts and manage waste.
- Lead, train, and mentor a diverse team of 5-10 employees, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
- Conduct daily quality control checks and resolve operational issues immediately to minimize downtime.
- Prepare and submit accurate shift reports, including productivity metrics and incident logs.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree or technical certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory or operational role within a manufacturing or logistics setting.
- Proven ability to work effectively during night shifts and handle the associated fatigue.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make quick, effective decisions under pressure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Forklift certification is highly preferred.
