Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations and workflow of the night shift team to ensure maximum productivity.
- Manage inventory levels, conducting regular cycle counts and ensuring accuracy in stock placement.
- Enforce strict safety protocols and OSHA regulations to maintain a zero-incident workplace.
- Train, mentor, and supervise a diverse team of warehouse associates and logistics staff.
- Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and prepare detailed shift reports for day-shift leadership.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve operational bottlenecks and logistical challenges.
- Handle emergency situations and personnel issues immediately and professionally.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in warehouse operations or logistics management.
- Previous leadership experience managing shift-based teams.
- Proficiency in WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) and inventory software.
- Strong understanding of safety standards and supply chain processes.
- Ability to work rotating night shifts and remain focused during peak hours.
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Logistics or Business preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to operate forklifts or heavy machinery.
