Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of night shift associates to ensure operational targets are met.
- Conduct daily safety briefings and enforce strict adherence to OSHA safety regulations.
- Monitor inventory levels and oversee the loading and unloading of trucks to ensure accuracy.
- Resolve operational bottlenecks and address employee concerns in real-time during the shift.
- Train new hires on warehouse machinery, safety protocols, and company procedures.
- Prepare daily shift reports and submit them to the General Manager by 7:00 AM.
- Ensure all equipment is maintained and operational during the overnight hours.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Business or Logistics preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Previous supervisory or lead experience in a manufacturing or distribution setting.
- Must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Forklift certification (CDL Class B with Hazmat endorsement is a plus).
- Strong communication skills and the ability to lead a diverse team.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
