Responsibilities
- Perform patient intake assessments and vital sign monitoring during overnight shifts
- Assist physicians with examinations and minor procedures in emergency and clinical settings
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) systems with precision and HIPAA compliance
- Administer medications and injections under physician supervision
- Coordinate patient care transitions between day and night shifts
- Respond to urgent patient needs and emergency situations calmly
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or NCMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in overnight/hospital setting
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic or Cerner preferred)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong communication skills for patient and team interactions
- Flexibility to work rotating weekends and holidays
