Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain network infrastructure, servers, and workstations during the night shift to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Respond to and resolve critical technical support tickets via remote channels and helpdesk systems.
- Perform scheduled system backups, patch management, and security updates during low-traffic hours.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software issues for internal staff and remote clients.
- Document all technical incidents, resolutions, and maintenance logs in our ticketing system.
- Collaborate with the day shift team to hand off unresolved issues and ensure seamless continuity.
- Conduct routine security audits and vulnerability assessments to protect company data.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent work experience (2+ years).
- Proven experience working in a night shift support or technical role.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and network troubleshooting (TCP/IP).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with diverse teams.
- Familiarity with remote desktop tools (e.g., TeamViewer, AnyDesk) and helpdesk software.
- CompTIA A+ or Network+ certification is a plus.
