Responsibilities
- Install, calibrate, and maintain advanced medical imaging equipment (MRI, CT, X-ray)
- Perform diagnostic troubleshooting and emergency repairs with company-provided diagnostic tools
- Conduct preventive maintenance schedules and equipment safety inspections
- Collaborate with clinical staff to optimize equipment performance and uptime
- Document all service activities and maintain digital maintenance records
- Train hospital staff on proper equipment operation and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Biomedical Equipment Technology or equivalent certification
- 3+ years of experience servicing medical imaging equipment
- Certification in CBET or equivalent preferred
- Strong diagnostic skills with mechanical and electronic systems
- Ability to work flexible hours including on-call rotations
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
