Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with clinical procedures and patient examinations
- Prepare and maintain exam rooms, medical equipment, and supplies
- Perform basic patient vitals and record electronic health records
- Schedule appointments and manage patient communications
- Collect and process laboratory specimens
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and OSHA regulations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (no degree required)
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or willingness to obtain within 6 months
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and clinical procedures
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting
- Valid CPR certification or willingness to obtain
