Responsibilities
- Coordinate and schedule inbound and outbound shipments to ensure timely delivery.
- Manage inventory levels, conduct cycle counts, and maintain accurate records in the warehouse management system.
- Communicate effectively with drivers, carriers, and internal stakeholders to resolve shipping discrepancies.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety regulations and DOT compliance standards.
- Train and mentor new warehouse staff on proper handling procedures.
- Analyze shipping data to identify trends and recommend process improvements.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Logistics or Business preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or warehouse operations.
- Valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and warehouse software (SAP, WMS).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a high-volume environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
