Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts through 2030
- Develop and publish annual innovation whitepapers for C-suite and board stakeholders
- Architect cross-functional R&D roadmaps aligning with 2026 market projections
- Partner with product teams to embed future-proofing principles into development lifecycles
- Curate and host executive workshops on scenario planning and strategic foresight
- Represent the company at global innovation summits and thought leadership forums
- Mentor a team of junior futurists and innovation analysts
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, or related field
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of translating future trends into market opportunities
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and systemic modeling
- Exceptional communication skills for executive-level presentations
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation (articles, books, reports)
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies (e.g., Delphi, STEEP analysis)
