Responsibilities
- Oversee and optimize day-to-day manufacturing and operational workflows to ensure maximum efficiency and output.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of supervisors, operators, and support staff.
- Develop and implement strategic operational plans that align with the company's long-term goals.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as production volume, quality control, and safety compliance.
- Manage the annual budget, including cost control measures and resource allocation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, engineering, and supply chain, to resolve issues and improve processes.
- Ensure strict adherence to local, state, and federal safety regulations and company policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in operations management, preferably within the manufacturing or industrial sector.
- Proven track record of leading teams and managing budgets effectively.
- Strong knowledge of Lean Six Sigma or other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be willing to relocate to Bakersfield, CA (Relocation assistance provided).
