Responsibilities
- Provide first-level technical support to employees regarding hardware and software issues.
- Assist in the setup and configuration of new workstations, laptops, and mobile devices.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on IT equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Document technical issues, resolutions, and user interactions in the helpdesk ticketing system.
- Collaborate with senior IT staff to learn advanced troubleshooting techniques and best practices.
- Assist with network connectivity troubleshooting and software deployment.
- Maintain a clean and organized IT workspace and inventory of equipment.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- A strong willingness to learn new technologies and adapt quickly to changing environments.
- Basic computer literacy and comfort with navigating operating systems (Windows/MacOS).
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-service oriented attitude.
- Ability to work full-time hours (Monday - Friday, 9 AM - 5 PM).
- Open to relocating to Madison, Wisconsin.
- Willingness to obtain relevant IT certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+) during employment.
