Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during clinical procedures
- Administer medications and vaccinations following strict protocols
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Perform vital sign measurements and basic lab diagnostics
- Schedule patient appointments and manage clinic workflow efficiently
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
- Coordinate with specialty departments and external healthcare providers
Qualifications
- Current Medical Assistant certification (CMA or RMA)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in ambulatory care setting
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic or NextGen preferred)
- Pennsylvania CPR/BLS certification
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in high-pressure environments
