Responsibilities
- Operate heavy machinery including excavators, bulldozers, and cranes with precision
- Perform daily equipment inspections and maintenance checks
- Read and interpret construction blueprints and project specifications
- Maintain strict adherence to OSHA safety protocols
- Collaborate with site supervisors and team members on project execution
- Document equipment usage and maintenance logs accurately
- Assist in site preparation and material handling operations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (no college degree required)
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years operating heavy machinery experience
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred
- Ability to work in diverse weather conditions and physical environments
- Strong problem-solving and spatial awareness skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Willingness to obtain additional certifications (company-sponsored)
