Responsibilities
- Crop Production: Perform manual labor including planting, cultivating, and harvesting crops according to established agricultural standards.
- Machinery Operation: Safely operate tractors, harvesters, and other farm equipment under supervision.
- Quality Control: Inspect crops for maturity and quality, removing debris and damaged produce.
- Packaging & Logistics: Assist in the packing, sorting, and loading of harvested goods onto transport vehicles.
- Field Maintenance: Maintain irrigation systems and general cleanliness of the work area and equipment.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and report any hazardous conditions immediately.
Qualifications
- Legal Status: Must be eligible for H2A visa sponsorship or currently hold a valid H2A visa.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform strenuous physical labor in outdoor environments, including bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
- Experience: Previous experience in farming, agriculture, or farm labor is preferred but not strictly required.
- Communication: Basic ability to understand and follow verbal instructions in English.
- Identification: Must possess a valid passport or other government-issued identification.
