Responsibilities
- Plant, cultivate, and harvest seasonal crops (tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers)
- Operate farm machinery including tractors and irrigation systems
- Maintain crop quality through sorting and packing procedures
- Apply pesticides and fertilizers per EPA guidelines
- Monitor field conditions and report pest/disease issues
- Adhere to OSHA safety standards at all times
- Participate in crop rotation planning and soil preparation
Qualifications
- Valid H2A visa sponsorship eligibility required
- Minimum 2 years commercial farming experience
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly in outdoor conditions
- Basic knowledge of crop cultivation techniques
- Valid driver's license preferred
- Willingness to work 10-12 hour days in varying weather
- English/Spanish bilingual skills a plus
- Clean background check and drug-free certification
