Responsibilities
- Plant, cultivate, and harvest organic vegetables (tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers)
- Operate farm machinery (tractors, harvesters) with proper training
- Perform field maintenance including irrigation and pest control
- Adhere to food safety and quality standards (GAP certified)
- Assist with packing and sorting produce in climate-controlled facilities
- Maintain accurate daily harvest records
- Participate in team safety briefings and training sessions
Qualifications
- Valid H2A visa sponsorship eligibility required
- Minimum 2 years commercial farming experience
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and work outdoors in all weather
- Basic English communication skills for team coordination
- Valid driver's license preferred (farm equipment operation)
- Flexible schedule including weekends and early mornings
- Pass pre-employment physical examination
- Willingness to relocate to Minneapolis area for contract duration
