Responsibilities
- Plant, cultivate, and harvest seasonal crops (tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers)
- Operate irrigation systems and farm machinery under supervision
- Monitor crop health and report pest/disease issues
- Maintain field cleanliness and equipment functionality
- Adhere to GAP (Good Agricultural Practices) standards
- Participate in weekly safety briefings and training sessions
- Assist with post-harvest sorting and packaging
Qualifications
- Must be eligible for H2A visa sponsorship
- Ability to perform physical labor in outdoor conditions
- Basic English communication skills
- Valid passport and required immigration documents
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends
- No prior agricultural experience required
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Commitment to completing full seasonal term
