Responsibilities
- Harvest seasonal crops (tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers) using proper techniques
- Operate farm machinery (tractors, harvesters) with safety protocols
- Maintain crop quality through sorting and packing procedures
- Apply integrated pest management practices under supervision
- Assist with irrigation system maintenance and field preparation
- Adhere to all H2A program requirements and USDA standards
- Participate in team training sessions for efficiency improvements
Qualifications
- Valid H2A visa or eligibility for H2A sponsorship
- Minimum 1 year of commercial farming experience
- Ability to work 10-hour shifts in outdoor weather conditions
- Basic English communication skills
- Physical stamina for repetitive bending/lifting (50 lbs max)
- Clean driving record for equipment operation
- Willingness to pass background check and drug screening
- Knowledge of Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) preferred
